Jadeveon Clowney on Monday went to the NFL combine. Clowney had a shocking 40 yard dash time with 4.53. That time is fast for a wide receiver and killer speed for a defensive back. Clowney is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2014 draft and speed sure does help to be a star player in the NFL.

Happy 30th Anniversary
This year the annual slam dunk competition will be held in the great city of New Orleans. This year is the 30th year anniversary of the slam dunk competition. The Dunks in the NBA have gotten better over the years. In 30 year the league has came a long way with making the dunk contest a real big thing and i hope the next 30 years will be even better.

Derek Jeter Announced An Early Retirement
Derek Jeter announced on Facebook Wednesday that this upcoming season will be his last. Derek Jeter has had an amazing career. He is 9th in hits all time, and is a for sure hall of famer. Jeter said that he never wanted to be playing baseball when it felt like a job. The fact that Jeter is retiring after the up coming year could be due to the injuries lately. Last year Jeter only played with the Yankees for 17 games. Hopefully Jeters last year in the leauge will be one to remember. Good luck Jeter and you will be missed.

The Broncos reminded me of a team during the Super Bowl, but I can't put my finger on it. Can you guys guess what team?
Super Bowl XLVIII
This years Super Bowl included the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos got the ball to start the game and their first play they gave up a safety. things were not looking good for the Broncos already. This was the beginning of what was the worst game the Broncos played all season. The Seahawks tacked on two field goals to go up 8-0 in the first quarter. To begin the second quarter, the Seahawks marched down the field to score a touchdown to go up 15-0. And on the next Broncos drive the Seahawks hit Peyton Manning as he was throwing and the Seahawks picked it off and took it 69 yards all the way to the touchdown. The score at the half was 22-0. And at the beginning of the half the Seahawks took it 87 yards all the way to the touchdown. The Broncos did not have an answer for the Seahawks offense and defense. On the seahawks next drive they marched down field to score on a 23 yard touchdown reception by Jermaine Kearse. The score by then was 36-0. But the Broncos would not be blanked. They scored on a 14 yard pass from Peyton Manning. They converted the two point conversion on a pass to Wes Welker from Manning. The Seahawks would score one more time and the Super Bowl would end with a score 43-8. Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks!!
