Early Retirement
Rashard Mendenhall, Cardinals running back announced that he was going to retire on Monday. It is not a rare thing for a player to retire, but it is rare for a 26 year old to retire. Mendenhall is only 26 and he said that he is tired of putting his life on the line for others entertainment.
PERFECT
Wichita State went 34-0 this regular season. Even thought they had a perfect regular season the pressure of remaining perfect is a hard thing to overcome.
Basketball and Baseball!
Tracy McGrady, retired NBA player and 7 time NBA All-star, was invited by The Sugar Land Skeeters to spring training. They are giving him a chance to earn a spot on the independent Atlantic League team. McGrady has been training to become a pitcher with the team. Good Luck Tracy McGrady!
